180cms of hair....Posted by in Untagged |
Interview with a Rapunzel
Some of you are already enjoying the photos of our new foreign member, Eniko, who has hair longer than herself, or as we say in English, “beyond floorlength”. As part of my visit to Romania, I interviewed her because people are naturally curious about someone who has 180cm long hair. Here is the interview :
Q: When did you start growing your hair, and why?
A: I started at age 9 after my mother forced me to have 2cm long hair. She always forced me to have a boyish haircut. At age 9, she let me grow my hair.
Q: Did you ever go to salons for a trim?
A: No, never. I knew I wanted to have long hair so I did not see any reason to visit a salon.
Q: What is the secret of your amazing hair?
A: I always braid my hair. I never dyed it. I use Head & Shoulders shampoo. I wash my hair only once a week. I only let my hair open when I wash it, or comb it in the morning. I only use shampoo, nothing else. Most of all, I never let any hairdresser cut it.
Q: I can see that you have a fringe. When did you make this?
A: March 2010. I wanted a change, so I went to a salon and asked for a fringe. They asked me if I wanted more to be cut, but I said “no.”
Q: Why did you want a change?
A: No-one in Romania showed any interest in my hair. My ex-boyfriends didn’t show interest, neither anyone else. I was ready to sell my hair for 15 000 Euros.
Q: Why didn’t you cut it?
A: I advertised on a foreign website and Frank Mullert found me. He asked me if he could photograph my hair before I sold it.
Q: How was your experience of being a long hair model?
A: I loved it! Soon after my photoshoot with Frank, I did a tv show and just recently I was in the local newspaper. It feels great to do something with my hair and I hope to do more projects in future.
Q: What are your future plans?
A: I will try to do more projects, which means I will try and learn about haircare so I can make my hair absolutely perfect as I can. I want to grow my hair longer, if it can, and most of all I want more interesting experiences with people from different countries.
Q: Thanks for this interview, Eniko. Do you have any message for our Czech and Slovak readers?
A: Yes. Stay as natural as you can and don’t stop believing that your hair can grow longer. It might take years, but everyone can have super-long hair if they try. I look forward to meeting some of you when I visit Czechia in the future.
